New Hotels in Oman
Muscat: Oman continues to shine on the global travel map in 2025—not only for its culture and landscapes but for a wave of new luxury hotels. As part of the Sultanate’s Vision 2040, the hospitality scene is buzzing with fresh openings and upcoming projects that promise to elevate the visitor experience.
Several properties are set to debut in 2025, including voco Al Mouj Muscat, Oman’s first voco hotel, opening later this year with 251 rooms, five dining options, and a spa on the Al Mouj waterfront. Also on the horizon is SOCIO by The Lux Collective in Sultan Haitham City, a lifestyle concept blending hotel rooms, apartments, and community spaces. Meanwhile, in Dhofar, a major joint venture with TUI Group will deliver five new resorts by 2028, strengthening the region as a year-round destination.
Recent years have also brought exciting additions: Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Ghala Muscat (2024), Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa (2024), and the debut of luxury names like Mandarin Oriental Muscat, JW Marriott Muscat, and St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat. Together, these properties have added hundreds of rooms and new experiences, from mountain escapes to urban glamour.
Oman’s hotel growth reflects a clear vision: blending heritage and natural beauty with modern design, global standards, and unforgettable stays.
