Day 01: Welcome to Beijing
Arrive in Beijing where your local guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day free to relax and recover from jet lag.

Day 02: Discovering Beijing’s Heritage
This morning, visit the magnificent Temple of Heaven, followed by a rickshaw ride through the historic Hutongs. Enjoy a family visit, a stop at a traditional courtyard, and even try your hand at Peking opera mask painting. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, stroll across Tian’anmen Square and step into the grandeur of the Forbidden City before returning to your hotel.

Day 03: The Great Wall Adventure
After breakfast, set out for the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the best-preserved sections (round-trip cable car included). Pause for a Chinese lunch before returning to the city. On the way, enjoy photo stops outside the Bird’s Nest Stadium and the Water Cube. In the evening, you may wish to taste the famous Peking Roast Duck (optional).

Day 04: Summer Palace & Train to Xi’an
Start the day with a visit to the stunning Summer Palace, China’s best-preserved imperial garden, where you can also enjoy an optional boat ride on Kunming Lake. After lunch, transfer to the railway station and board the high-speed train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, check in with guide assistance.

Day 05: Ancient Xi’an & Terracotta Warriors
Begin with a walk or optional bike ride along the impressive Xi’an City Wall. Then continue to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors, with a stop en route at a cave dwelling pottery workshop to try making your own miniature warrior. After lunch, return to the city for free time around Bell Tower Square and the lively Muslim Quarter, perfect for tasting local snacks and shopping.

Day 06: Xi’an Treasures & Flight to Guilin
Enjoy a leisurely morning before visiting Gao’s Courtyard, where you’ll experience traditional residences and shadow puppetry culture. Then stop at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda North Plaza, famous for its fountain show (subject to schedule). Later, fly to Guilin, the city of karst landscapes.

Day 07: Longji Rice Terraces
Today, take a scenic drive to the spectacular Longji Rice Terraces, also called the “Dragon’s Backbone.” Visit the Ping’an Zhuang Village and enjoy a countryside lunch before returning to Guilin by late afternoon.

Day 08: Li River Cruise to Yangshuo
Embark on a 4-hour cruise along the Li River to Yangshuo, admiring some of China’s most breathtaking scenery. A lunch box will be provided on board. On arrival in Yangshuo, enjoy free time exploring the lively West Street, then return to Guilin.

Day 09: Guilin Highlights & Train to Zhangjiajie
This morning, visit the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill and the magical Reed Flute Cave. After lunch, transfer to the station and board a high-speed train to Zhangjiajie, where you’ll be met and escorted to your hotel.

Day 10: Tianmen Mountain Wonders
Spend the day exploring Tianmen Mountain and its six wonders: the cable car, glass skywalk, Tianmen Temple, Bonsai Garden, Tianmen Cave, and Connected-Heaven Avenue. On the way back, stop at Tujia Minority Custom Park to learn about the traditions and architecture of the Tujia people.

Day 11: Avatar Mountains & Tianzi Nature Reserve
Take the Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, known as the inspiration for the “Hallelujah Mountains” in Avatar. Continue to Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve (cable car down) and ride a small train through the beautiful Ten-Mile Gallery.

Day 12: Glass Bridge & Baofeng Lake – Fly to Shanghai
Visit the spectacular Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, the highest and longest in the world, followed by a tranquil boat ride on Baofeng Lake. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai.

Day 13: Shanghai City Highlights
Explore the charming Shikumen alleys (Nong Tang) to glimpse local life, then visit Yuyuan Garden and its bustling bazaar. After lunch, head to the Oriental Pearl Tower, visiting the City History Museum before ascending to the 2nd ball for panoramic views of Shanghai. Continue through the modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui before ending the day at the scenic Bund, with its iconic skyline views across the Huangpu River.

Day 14: Farewell China
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your homebound flight. Bid farewell to this ancient yet modern land, taking with you unforgettable memories of your China journey.
