Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive at Beijing International Airport where you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax and recover from jet lag.

Day 02: Beijing: Temple of Heaven • Hutongs • Forbidden City

• Morning visit to the Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of Ming architecture.

• Enjoy a Hutong rickshaw tour, visit a local family, and experience Peking Opera mask painting.

• After a traditional a la carte lunch, walk across the grand Tian’anmen Square and explore the Forbidden City, home of emperors for over 500 years.

Day 03: Beijing: Great Wall of China (Mutianyu)

• Drive 2 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall, including a round-trip cable car ride.

• Enjoy a hearty Chinese lunch nearby.

• Return to the city with a photo stop at the Bird’s Nest (Olympic Stadium) and Water Cube.
  (Optional: Dinner at a famous Peking Roast Duck restaurant.)

Day 04: Beijing → Xi’an (by High-Speed Train)

• Visit the Summer Palace, China’s largest and best-preserved imperial garden, with optional boating on Kunming Lake.

• After lunch, transfer to the station for a high-speed train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 05: Xi’an: Terracotta Warriors & Ancient City Wall

• Morning visit to the Xi’an City Wall, with an option for cycling along its ramparts.

• Explore the Terracotta Warriors, one of the world’s greatest archaeological discoveries.

• Stop at a traditional cave dwelling pottery workshop to try making your own mini warrior.

Later, stroll through Bell Tower Square and the vibrant Muslim Quarter, famous for local snacks and souvenirs.

Day 06: Xi’an → Shanghai (by Flight)

• Morning visit to Gao’s Courtyard, with insights into ancient residences and traditional shadow puppetry.

• Visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda North Plaza and enjoy (time permitting) the spectacular music fountain show.

• Fly to Shanghai, then transfer to your hotel.

Day 07: Shanghai: City Highlights

• Explore Shikumen Nong Tang alleys to see authentic local life.

• Visit the classical Yuyuan Garden and browse Yuyuan Bazaar.

• After lunch, tour the Shanghai City History Museum beneath the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, then ascend for breathtaking city views.

• Drive through Lujiazui financial district and end the day at The Bund, with its famous skyline views across the Huangpu River.
