Explore Srilanka – 04 Nights / 05 Days

OMR 114.000

Itinerary Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival Meet & Greet and proceed to Pinnawala

The Pinnawela Elephant orphanage is a 25-acre coconut property, that is home to many orphaned elephants who roam freely. But why does a visit to Pinnawela create so much excitement? This is the one place you would get to see these gentle giants up close when they stroll to the nearby river at 10.00am and 2.00pm daily. It¿s an opportunity to take lots of pictures of them taking a bath, enjoying the water, playing and socializing with the rest of the elephants. If you are adventurous you could volunteer your time for a ½ day or full day session to be a caretaker.  If not with supervised assistance you could even bath and scrub an elephant. How does that sound for an Elephant experience.

On completion transfer from Pinnawala to Kandy.

Last ruled by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe – before it was brought under the British rule in 1815, Kandy – the World Heritage Site & last royal capital of Sri Lankan kings – crafts an array of culture, history and heritage in the minds of visitors across the globe. Experience an ancient Kandyan legacy engraved around its crown jewel, the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. A stroll across this small lakeside town – cradled among the misty hills – will feature the Kandy City Centre – bundled with latest and world class brands, bazaar, an arts & crafts center, as well as a gem museum & lapidary.

Overnight Stay at Hotel in Kandy.

Day 2 : Proceed to Peradeniya

First developed as a pleasure garden under royalty and later harmonized by the British, the Royal
Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya – today bundled with the most welcoming facilities located just 4 miles off Kandy – is a flourishing national asset in the Wonder of Asia. Walk into this 147-acre bliss of an experience, passing well-tended lawns, pavilions & an octagon conservatory to be greeted by the vast expanse of a magnificently landscaped lush green turf which will encourage you for an exhilarating break.

On completion transfer from Peradeniya to Tea Plantation.

Sri Lanka, Tea and Tourism are words which cannot be separated. Take a tour to the cold & misty hills that take pride of an ultimate tea tour, covering lush green blankets of tea plantations.
On completion transfer from Tea Plantation to Nuwara Eliya.

Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 03 : Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, go for city tour – Misty steep roads, twisting through lush green blankets of tea bushes in a cool climate, remind visitors that they are within the range of the renowned British colonial retreat, Nuwara Eliya. Augmented by an English countryside atmosphere, the city of light – once governed by English & Scottish planters – is still studded with colonial bungalows, hedgerows & one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in the world. A hike through the green grass and red-brick walls should present breathtaking views of a buzzing countryside hamlet.

Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 04 : Proceed to Colombo

After breakfast proceed to Colombo.

Colombo city tour – The throbbing metropolis, Colombo – located in the West – is not only the country&commercial capital, but also the turbine that impels above 50% of the national GDP flanking Colombo&fancy urban development effort. Drive along the clean streets edging the crystal white Race Course – horse racing hub in 1893 & World War II airstrip – furnished today with lavish clothing, food & tea boutiques. Meanwhile, ride to Pettah & tune into the Floating Market – an offbeat shopping experience – or feel the buzz surrounding the upcoming inspiration, the Colombo Port City – an offshore city – featuring parks, commercial complexes & even an F1 track! Head along Bauddhaloka Mawatha towards “Arcade” facing a historic waypost, the Independence Square. Every designer boutique, top-notch cuisine outlet and even “walk-over fish tank” have revamped this colonial masterpiece into one of the trendiest shopping and hangout zones in Sri Lanka. If you’re lucky, head into an exhibition at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) before swaying your head to an opera or play at Nelum Pokuna
that should just drive your day into perfection!.

Best of Srilanka – 06 Nights / 07 Days

OMR 158.000

On completion transfer from Pinnawala to Dambulla.

Overnight Stay at Hotel in Dambulla

Day 2 : Proceed to Sigiriya

After breakfast, proceed to Sigiriya – The 5th century rock citadel of King Kasyapa and World Heritage Site – Sigiriya – doesn’t only boasts of ancient Sri Lankan engineering & urban planning supremacy but also acclaims to be one of the finest monuments of art & culture. Step through the gigantic ‘Lion Paws’ – overlooking the symmetrical royal gardens below – to comprehend the absolute splendor that once dominated this rock fortress. Surrounded by ramparts & moats the Lion Rock – resembling the mythological ‘City of Gods’ – is coated by frescoes that relate to Gupta style paintings found in Ajanta caves of India. Walk in the shade of an eminent ‘mirror wall’ embracing the Western face of Sigiriya representing an artistic hundred meters laminated with graffiti. Wander into the well-fabricated museum downstairs for an epic journey of yesteryears to realize how the citadel floated above citizens with the castle, ponds and irrigation systems that pumped water right onto its summit with an ingenious hydraulic system describing a colossal masterpiece of the great king which remained a wonder in Asia for centuries.

On completion transfer from Sigiriya to Minneriya.

If you’re up for a serious rumble in the jungle, then Minneriya is your Colosseum! Spreading over 8800 hectares, this is a sanctuary for elephants. Minneriya is home to herds of deer and ample birdlife, but its spotlight remains between swaying trunks & flapping ears. Park your jeep on the bank of the reservoir and switch off its engine. Watch carefully as herds of elephants – one by one – roll on to the grass-covered banks, to feed on tender shoots. In fact, this is the largest elephant gathering in the world – over 300 at a time – which has garnished the park to become a magnet for wildlife enthusiasts across the globe.

On completion transfer from Minneriya to Dambulla hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03 : Proceed to Matale

After breakfast,  proceed to Matale – An agricultural zone in the Central Province, Matale seldom drops off the maps due to its remarkable contribution through flagship crops of the island extending from tea, rubber & vegetables to spices. Spearheading the Rebellion back in 1848, Matale today takes immense pride in its story woven around spices. Stop by the side of a spice garden – into which you will be most welcome – and observe the therapeutic values of spices & processes over a refreshing cup of herbal tea! Or spend some time idling on the hardened streets if you mean a real town adventure filled with voices and colors.

On completion transfer from Matale to Kandy.

Walk in color as you glide through fresh fruits and vegetables in the Kandy market. Fine tube your evening by stepping to the beat of traditional music & drumming amplified by a cultural show enhancing the rich and vibrant culture of the Wonder of Asia, Sri Lanka.

Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 04 : Proceed to Peradeniya

After breakfast proceed to Peradeiya- First developed as a pleasure garden under royalty and later harmonized by the British, the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya – today bundled with the most welcoming facilities located just 4 miles off Kandy – is a flourishing national asset in the Wonder of Asia. Walk into this 147-acre bliss of an experience, passing well-tended lawns, pavilions & an octagon conservatory to be greeted by the vast expanse of a magnificently landscaped lush green turf which will encourage you for an exhilarating break. Towards the north of the entrance rests a cafeteria that one might come across before stepping into some of the highlights – the orchid house & giant Javan fig tree – of this place which overflow in grace.

On completion transfer from Peradeniya to Tea Plantation.

Sri Lanka, Tea and Tourism are words which cannot be separated. Take a tour to the cold & misty hills that take pride of an ultimate tea tour, covering lush green blankets of tea plantations. Or just step into a tea factory processing the prestigious brand of Ceylon Tea, to observe a rich tradition kept alive up to date. As you observe the hissing and swishing of machines, inhaling the heavenly scent arising from these facilities, make sure to end your day in style over a perfectly blended cup of pure Ceylon Tea.

On completion transfer from Tea Plantation to Nuwara Eliya for overnight stay.

Day 05 : Visit to the Nuwra Eliya city

Misty steep roads, twisting through lush green blankets of tea bushes in a cool climate, remind visitors that they are within the range of the renowned British colonial retreat, Nuwara Eliya. Drive through green valleys of the hill country pierced by endless waterfalls & dotted by tea pluckers draped in bright-colored saris. Or rent a bike for a gentle ride along the banks splashed by the waters of Lake Gregory.

On completion transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Ahungalla for overnight stay.

Day 06 : Proceed to Colombo

Morning after breakfast, Proceed to Colombo. Check in and afternoon do a city tour in Colombo.

The throbbing metropolis, Colombo – located in the West – is not only the country’s commercial capital, but also the turbine that impels above 50% of the national GDP flanking Colombo’s fancy urban development effort. Head along Bauddhaloka Mawatha towards ‘Arcade’ facing a historic waypost, the Independence Square. Every designer boutique, top-notch cuisine outlet and even the ‘walk-over fish tank’, have revamped this colonial masterpiece into one of the trendiest shopping and hangout zones in Sri Lanka. If you’re lucky, head into an exhibition at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) before swaying your head to an opera or play at Nelum Pokuna that should just drive your day into perfection!.

Jordan Explorer – 7 Days / 6 Nights

OMR 459.000

Itinerary Itinerary

Day 1 : Amman Airport – Amman

Arrive Amman International Queen Alia Airport, meet & assist by our representative. Later transfer to Amman Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 :  Jerash – Ajlun – Dead Sea – Amman

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Jerash – A close second to Petra on the list of favorite destinations in Jordan, the ancient city of Jerash boasts an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years. Jerash lies on a plain surrounded by hilly wooded areas and fertile basins. Conquered by General Pompey in 63 BC, it came under Roman rule and was one of the ten great Roman cities, the Decapolis League

Continue to Ajlun – The marvels of nature and the genius of medieval Arab military architecture have given northern Jordan two of the most important ecological and historical attractions in the Middle East: the sprawling pine forests of the Ajloun-Dibbine area, and the towering Ayyubid castle at Ajlun, which helped to defeat the Crusaders eight centuries ago. Ajlun Castle (Qal’at Ar-Rabad) was built by one of Saladin’s generals in 1184 AD to control the iron mines of Ajlun, and to deter the Franks from invading Ajlun.

Continue to the Dead Sea hotel where there will be the opportunity to float in the therapeutic waters.  Dead Sea is over 400 meters (1,312 ft.) below sea level. The lowest point on the face of the earth, this vast, stretch of water receives a number of incoming rivers, including the River Jordan. Once the waters reach the Dead Sea they are land-locked and have nowhere to go, so they evaporate, leaving behind a dense, rich, cocktail of salts and minerals that supply industry, agriculture and medicine with some of its finest products.

Overnight stay at Amman Hotel.

Day 3 : Desert Castles – Kan Zaman

Breakfast in the hotel – transfer to visit the Desert Castles, taking you on a journey to the flourishing Islamic civilization of the Umayyad Dynasty, A string of castles, caravanserai, fortresses and retreats adorn your desert trail and paint a mysterious, exotic picture of hunting life and recreation in those old times, those castles are Qasr Amra, Qasr Azraq and Qasr Al Kheraneh Back to Amman for Dinner at Kan Zaman Restaurant (or similar).

Later drive to Amman Hotel for overnight.

Day 4 : Amman – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Karak – Petra

After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Madaba Best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, Madaba is home to the famous 6th century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land.

Continue to visit Mount Nebo, the mountaintop memorial of Moses with captivating views of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and The River Jordan.

Then drive to Karak to see the famous crusaders’ fort – The fort itself is a dark maze of stone-vaulted halls and endless passageways.

Proceed to hotel in Petra for Overnight stay.

Day 5 : Petra

Breakfast at Hotel. Start the visit of Petra – Petra the world wonder, is without doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabateans who settled here more than 2000 years ago, turning it into an important junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked China, India and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece and Rome.

Entrance to the city is through the Siq, a narrow gorge, over 1 kilometer in length, which is flanked on either side by soaring, 80 meters high cliffs. The colors and formations of the rocks are dazzling. As you reach the end of the Siq you will catch your first glimpse of Al-Khazneh (Treasury). A massive façade, 30m wide and 43m high, carved out of the sheer, dusky pink, rock-face and dwarfing everything around it. It was carved in the early 1st century as the tomb of an important Nabatean king and represents the engineering genius of these ancient people.

Upon completion of the tour, back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6 : Petra – Wadi Rum – Aqaba

Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out and transfer to Wadi Rum – This is a stupendous, timeless place, virtually untouched by humanity and its destructive forces, so elegantly described by T.E. Lawrence as “vast, echoing and god-like”..

We will arrange Jeep Tour by Bedouin jeeps (about 2 hrs) inside Wadi Rum to include Spring of Lawrence area then Khazalee Mountain and Sand Dune – then continue to Aqaba – Check in at Hotel – overnight.  Also known as ‘The Valley of the Moon’, this is the place where Prince Faisal Bin Hussein and T.E. Lawrence based their headquarters during the Arab Revolt against the Ottomans in World War 1, and their exploits are intrinsically woven into the history of this amazing area.

With its wealth of other attractions, Jordan’s splendid Red Sea resort is often overlooked by modern-day visitors. But apart from being a delightful place for discerning holidaymakers, this is actually a great base from which to explore various places of interest in southern Jordan.
Aqaba is a fun place. It is a microcosm of all the good things Jordan has to offer, including a fascinating history with some outstanding sites, excellent hotels and activities, superb visitor facilities, good shopping, and welcoming, friendly people, who enjoy nothing more than making sure their visitors have a good time.

Day 7 : Aqaba – Aqaba Airport
